A pretty HVAC website that doesn't get found and doesn't get called is an expensive brochure. We build sites that rank, load fast on a phone in a driveway, and turn visitors into booked jobs — then we prove it with call tracking.
Most contractor websites fail at one of three jobs
A heating and cooling website has to do three things in order. It has to be found, it has to be believed, and it has to make calling easy. Miss any one and the other two stop mattering.
- Found. A site with one "Services" page cannot rank for AC repair, furnace installation, heat pumps and mini-splits across a dozen towns. Structure is a ranking decision, not a design decision.
- Believed. Homeowners are deciding whether to let a stranger into their house. Reviews, license numbers, real photos of your team and your trucks, and named service areas do more for conversion than any animation.
- Easy. Most of your traffic is on a phone, often with a broken air conditioner and a short temper. Tap-to-call above the fold, a form that takes fifteen seconds, financing visible, and no interstitial pop-up standing between them and the phone number.
How we build HVAC websites
Built on the keyword map, not the other way round. Before anything is designed we know which services and which towns you need to rank for. The site structure follows that map — a page per service, a page per city you genuinely serve, internally linked so authority reaches the pages that make money.
Speed first. Core Web Vitals are a ranking input and a conversion input. A slow site loses homeowners before it loses rankings.
Conversion architecture. Click-to-call in the header on mobile, a short form, financing and maintenance plan offers where they belong, live reviews on service pages, and service area pages that actually name the towns.
Schema and technical SEO. Local business, service and review markup, clean sitemaps, correct canonicals — the things that let search engines and AI assistants understand what you do and where you do it.
Tracked from day one. Call tracking on every source, form tracking, and a dashboard that shows which pages produce booked jobs rather than which pages get traffic.
You own it. Your domain, your site, your content. We are not interested in holding your website hostage to keep you as a client — that is not why our clients stay.
The pages an HVAC site needs
- AC repair, AC installation and replacement, and emergency cooling
- Furnace repair, furnace installation, and emergency heating
- Heat pumps and ductless mini-splits — increasingly the highest-value searches in the trade
- Indoor air quality, duct cleaning and duct sealing
- Maintenance plans, with the offer stated plainly enough to sign up on a phone
- Commercial HVAC, if you do it — it converts very differently from residential and deserves its own page
- A real page for every city you serve, with local proof on it, not a template with the town name swapped in
- Financing, because system replacement is a five-figure decision
What a converting site does to your numbers
Across one documented Paul The Plumber reporting period, monthly lead flow rose from 285 to 468 while average cost per lead fell from $36.74 to $20.48 — with the campaign landing pages converting in the 35–40% range.
Nothing about the market changed. What changed was where the traffic landed. The same ad spend buys dramatically more work when the page it points at is built to convert.

Redesign warning: most redesigns lose rankings
The most common way a contractor loses a year of SEO progress is a redesign done by someone who does not do SEO. URLs change without redirects, content gets shortened because it looked long, service pages get merged into one, and traffic quietly collapses six weeks after launch.
We migrate with a redirect map, preserve the content that earns rankings, and monitor rankings and lead flow through launch. If your current site ranks for anything at all, protecting that is the first job, not an afterthought.
