If you’re not aware, Google is always changing its algorithms, which means you’ve got to be aware of the changes that are happening to ensure that something you did to rank your website last year isn’t actually hurting you now. It’s a big job, but somebody HAS to do it for you if you want people to be able to find you in internet searches. That’s why Josh held this webinar: The NEW SEO Formula for Plumbing and HVAC Businesses. He holds nothing back, walking you through everything you need to know and exactly what you need to do to rank your site well in today’s SEO climate.

Mobile indexing is something every plumber needs to be aware of when it comes to SEO

You’d have to have your head in the sand not to notice how many people these days have their noses in their phones. Mobile internet browsing is quickly becoming THE way that people are searching for the things they need. If your plumbing and heating website is not optimized for mobile search, you’re going to experience a huge drop off in leads coming in through internet searches. Why? Because Google is able to tell which sites are easy to use on mobile and which ones are not - and offers mobile users ONLY the sites that are mobile friendly. Find out how you can fix this serious problem, on this episode covering the 2017 SEO formula for Plumbers.

Google Home services has changed the game when it comes to Plumbing SEO

There have been rumors for some time that Google will be combining with a Home Services Recommendation engine to provide recommended services when service companies are searched for on the web. In some cities it’s already happening to a degree, so you need to keep that in mind as you build out your SEO and marketing strategy. What can you do to make sure you are included in those service listings that appear at the top of search results? This episode's SEO formula walks you through exactly what you can do to ensure your site is found, even if you’re not one of those recommended services. Find out how by listening.

The same content on pages for different cities is no longer a good idea

One of the tactics service providers used to use was to create separate pages for every city they serve, then just copy and paste the same generic content describing their overall services into every one of those city pages. It worked for a while to get web traffic to websites, but it’s a thing of the past. Google’s algorithm changes make it impossible for that tactic to be beneficial - in fact, it’s going to hurt you if your site still has that kind of content because Google will see it as duplicate content and penalize your entire website. Find out how you can remedy the problem and what you should do instead, on this episode.

User experience on your website is something Google considers when ranking your site

Google is getting smarter and smarter all the time. Every algorithm change increases its ability to detect exactly what users are doing when they visit your website. That means Google is now able to detect how long a user is on your site, what they do while on the page, and whether or not your page was useful. For example: If searchers who visit your site don’t stay very long - Google takes that as a sign that your site is not very useful and will not favor it in search results. You’ve got to stop that from happening - and you can find out how on this episode as Josh explains his SEO formula for 2017.
